Our First Purl Camp
Registration is $495
You'll make lifelong friends with fellow campers, eat great food and relax with a wonderful view of the Wasatch Mountains. Your registration fee includes:
- Workshop sessions where we'll dye mini-skeins, then learn to knit lace mandalas . You'll learn to "read your knitting" to prevent and fix common lace mistakes.
- There will be plenty of time to just relax and knit together.
- Yarn Store Party
- A fun Camp bag!

Lace Knitting
We're going to knit amazing lace mandalas. I'll have several patterns for you to choose from. These works of art can be used for doilies, or lovely wall art when attached to a brass ring.
Yarn Store Party!
The Needlepoint Join will be open just for us! Personalized shopping and maybe a little wine and cheese. It's a lovely way to begin our retreat.

Our glamping accommodations include a lovely King or Queen bed room, hot breakfast, available optional room service, on-site restaurant, indoor pool and bar.
We have a special rate of only $140 per night just for our event but you must reserve your room before May 19th, 2024
NOTE: Purl Camp ends Friday the 21st, but you can extend your stay at the group rate, if you choose to attend Jana's Pythagorean Heel workshop at the Needlepoint Joint on Saturday the 22nd. More info coming soon! (This class requires a separate registration through NPJ)
Relax
We'll have plenty of time to relax and knit together. The hotel also has an on-site restaurant with room service, a pool, fitness center and spa.

Conveniently located just 45 mins from Salt Lake City's airport, Ogden is home of some of the most gorgeous scenery in the Rocky Mountain West. No need to rent a car when you can take the train to Union Station in downtown Ogden, then ride the trolley right to our hotel. There is plenty to do here for your non-knitting companion!
